Dear FOP Lodge President,
Our 2020 Easterseals Telethon is Sunday, April 5, 12-6 p.m. at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville. With the help of the FOP, last year’s all-local Telethon on ABC 25 Local raised over $1,000,000! These funds helped nearly 5,200 children and adults with disabilities reach for their dreams! Again this year, FOP lodges can turn dreams into reality for individuals from 30 area counties—people like Sandy Ford and Ellie-Jane Pfingston.
Ellie-Jane was born with cerebral palsy and spina bifida. Just learning to stand and walk for the first time took lots of help and hard work. Sandy was also born with cerebral palsy. She faced similar obstacles growing up, and experienced new challenges as an adult. Today the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is helping both Ellie-Jane and Sandy reach their goals. With support from the FOP, we will be here for Sandy and Ellie-Jane—and thousands of other people with disabilities—as they strive to achieve their dreams of independence.
At the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, individuals of all ages receive the life-changing therapy they need regardless of their ability to pay. We are very grateful that the FOP is a state and national sponsor of Easterseals. Last year, area FOP lodges donated a total of $3,760 to fund physical, occupational, and speech therapy. As client referrals continue to grow, your support is needed more than ever!
Our goal is to get all the FOP lodges in the Southwest District involved in our local Telethon by making a donation. Please fill out and return the enclosed form as soon as possible to confirm your participation.
