2019 Legislative Report #1

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The 2019 Session of the Indiana General Assembly kicked off on January 3. Filed bills are being released by the Legislative Services Agency as they are prepared.
As of the date of the attached report approximately 360 of the expected 1200 or so House and Senate Bills have been filed and released. As the bills are released each is reviewed by the FOP. Identified bills of significant interest to our members are included in the attached report. The report will grow as bills are added and will eventually shrink as bills die.
In the report you will find each identified bill number, a synopsis of the bill, the last three actions taken and a link to latest version of the bill. This will be the standard format throughout most of the session. I will attempt, depending on State House activity, to author and distribute reports on a weekly basis throughout the session.
