Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This year’s short session of the Indiana General Assembly is off and running at a furious pace.  Bills are being scheduled and heard in committees, sometimes with short notice. 

Attached you will find Legislative Report #1, 2020.  As usual, the report is very lengthy as we have tried to include a variety of bills thought to be of significant interest to our members.  As the session progresses, our list of bills will shrink as bills are either not heard in committee or fail to pass through the process for various reasons.  Please review Report #1 and subsequent reports to see how each bill either advances or fails to advance as we move through this session of the Indiana General Assembly.

This year I am joined by my law partner, Ed Merchant, at the State House.  Ed and I will be working with President Owensby to move our program forward.  Please feel free to contact President Owensby, Ed, or me for additional information.
