Charlie adored his grandchildren and shared his love of fishing, hunting, and nature with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 49 years, Janie Altman; brother, Raymond Altman; and sister, Rita Goegel.

Charlie is survived by his son, Dean Altman; daughters, Kathy Altman and Karen Angermeier (Tom) all of Evansville; grandchildren, John Ringwall (Amber), Julianne Ringwall, Allyson Angermeier, and Nicholas Angermeier; and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Braun Nursing Home and Kindred Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
