    Robert "Bob" A. Mounts

    Evansville, Ind.

    Robert "Bob" A. Mounts, 91, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House.

    Bob was born in Patoka, Indiana on July 12, 1926 to the late Arthur and Maggie (LaGrange) Mounts. He retired from Whirlpool in 1987 after 39 years of service. Bob was a faithful member of North Haven General Baptist Church since 2000. He was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Prince Masonic Lodge since 1957. Bob loved camping and was a member of the National Camper and Hikers Association. He has camped with family and friends all over the country and was a gifted carpenter and mechanic.

    Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-nine and a half years, Aileen (Land) Mounts of Evansville, IN; daughter, Sheila Bridges (Bruce) of Evansville, IN; sons, Tom Mounts (Susie) of Owensville, IN and Bob Mounts (Martha) of Deland, FL; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Bob was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Teresa Green; son, Ronald Mounts; sisters, Faye, Dorothy, Mary, and Maxine; and by his brothers, Louis, Vesper, Lester, and Don.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor David Kelle officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery.

    Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday.

    Memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet St., Evansville, IN 47710 or to Teresa's Troop in Bob's memory.

    The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Linda E. White Hospice House for their compassionate care.
